Mayflower 2020 400th Anniversary Tour


2020 will commemorate the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower's pioneering voyage. The Tour will give you a chance to explore Plymouth's key locations and its historical role as the final departure point of the Mayflower Pilgrims from the famous Mayflower Steps. The guided car tour will explore the Mayflower sites, including Plymouth and Dartmouth. Approximately 6 - 8 hours, depending on travellers interest or itinerary.

Janice Bailey is an experienced tour guide, and specialises in city tours of Plymouth.

Her main Plymouth City Tour takes 1.5 hours (including a half an hour coffee break in Plymouth below the two famous bridges over the Tamar overlooking Saltash). The tour also includes the historic Barbican area (Elizabethan), the Hoe (where Francis Drake played his bowls), and the Dockyard. Janice does a very light entertaining commentary and charges very competitive rates.
